Kim’s musical roots trace all the way back to childhood. Growing up in a musical family, she began singing almost before she could talk. She created her first(rock) band at the tender age of 15, and by 16, was singing hit Country tunes at the local VFW club on weekends. Kim has been singing with a variety of bands ever since, but due to frequent moves, has not been able to lay permanent or long term claim with any one group.

After coming to Second Life and being inspired by the many talented and wonderful entertainers she has met and witnessed here, it became apparent that an opportunity for her to fulfill her own dream of singing could still come true. Second Life and technology provide a medium where relocation and permanent, physical venues are not an issue, and Kim can now attend to the duties of a demanding personal and family life, entertain us in SL, and enjoy what she loves doing so much.

Kim’s musical style and personal sound is well suited for high energy country rock, and this where she shines and has the most fun. M4TM Depeche Mode Tribute Live Concert at Mediaset in Second Life

Il gruppo degli M4TM si esibira’ nell’auditorim di Mediaset Giovedi 24 Aprile alle 23:00 ora italiana (2:00 pmslt).

Il progetto M4TM nasce nel 2003 dopo una magnifica avventura di una rock cover-band (Substrato), con l’obiettivo di realizzare un tributo live ai Depeche Mode.

Del gruppo originale resta la voce (Marcello) e la sezione ritmica (Matteo e Paolo poi sostituito da Stefano), ai quali si aggiungono successivamente Fabrizio (tastiere, synth e campionatori) e Andrea (chitarra).

Sull’onda emotiva di Marcello e Fabrizio, fans accaniti da sempre, e Andrea, fan recente ma non meno accanito, il gruppo vuole cercare di dare una propria interpretazione alla musica dei Depeche Mode, senza stravolgerne i contenuti, alla ricerca del giusto mix fra originale e cover.

Ecco il perchè di una formazione che volutamente non ricalca fedelmente l’originale, ma che è in grado di spaziare agevolmente in tutta la discografia dei Depeche Mode, dalle sonorità più elettroniche dei primi anni 80 fino a quelle più dure che caratterizzano l’ultima produzione.

Il repertorio dei M4TM interamente suonato dal vivo, con l’aiuto di campionatori e sequencer utilizzati per ricreare un la magia del gruppo di Basildon.

I Mode For The Masses cercano di allargare per quanto possibile la già nutrita e fedelissima schiera di fans dei Depeche Mode, riproponendo la loro musica con la magia del live e cercando di coinvolgere anche chi a loro non si è mai avvicinato.

Il tutto, come sempre, guidato dalla passione per la musica e da una sana voglia di divertirsi!

Roberto Tardito Freenote si esibira’ nell’auditorium di Mediaset Venerdi 11 aprile alle 22:00 ora italiana (1:00 pm slt).
Roberto Tardito nasce a Ivrea il 17 marzo del 1984.
Dall’età di sei anni inizia a studiare pianoforte, e negli anni successivi perfeziona la tecnica chitarristica, già impostata da autodidatta.
L’ascolto appassionato di ogni genere di musica, in questi anni di formazione, aiuta a far si che Roberto inizi a comporre musiche per conto proprio, talvolta rimodellando frammenti di ogni tradizione europea.
Dall’altro lato coltiva l’amore per la letteratura e la poesia. Nascono così le prime canzoni.
Non solo questo, però. Il 2003 è dedicato alla composizione delle musiche per lo spettacolo teatrale “Simone Veil”.
Tra il 2004 e il 2005 inizia un’intensa attività concertistica, culminata in un concerto alla manifestazione Tavagnasco Rock, in una serata comune con Mauro Pagani e Morgan.
Nel 2006 si dedica alla realizzazione del progetto discografico “CONTROVENTO”.
Nel 2007 e 2008 presenta l’album in 57 concerti in SL.
Nell’album hanno suonato musicisti che hanno collaborato e collaborano con Francesco Guccini, Ivano Fossati, Angelo Branduardi, Fabrizio De Andrè, Niccolò Fabi, Samuele Bersani.

Noma Falta is a seasoned musician in Real Life beginning to step in to the virtual world of Second Life. Noma has toured the United States over several decades and has sung all kinds of music from jazz to soul and rock to blues.

A classical violinist playing in a symphony from the age of 7, Noma decided singing was her love and went on the road at the age of 16 singing in coffee shops (pre- Starbuck’s!) and through out the years gracing large auditoriums opening for acts such as Edgar Winter, Leon Russell,Nazareth, The Producers, and many others.

From One nighters to Holding house gigs for years at a time, and Studio work and national TV spots, Noma’s voice is in demand. She can be heard on many blues cd’s singing backup and she has Two CD’s she has cut with her band, The BackBeats.

NO canned music karaoke here FOLKS – it is the real thing all around! NOma plays bass and sings with her guitar player Rockin’ Live with tracks as well as UNPLUGGED with acoustic music…….
